One of the oldest roads between eastern and western Norway passes through this valley from Hol over the Geiteryggen mountain and to Aurland. A beautiful and wild landscape rich in flora and fauna, a truly fascinating cultural heritage with magnificent nature and bizarre geological formations. The tour follows the classic route via Østerbø and Vassbygdi, ending up at Aurlandsfjord. We stay two nights in Østerbø Gueshouse and at Flåmsbrygga Hotel in Flåm.  We visit Underdal Valley and the Nærøyfjord (on the 2005 Unesco's World Heritage List) during this time. The Fjords Geiranger and Nærøy are the first natural properties from Norway to be included in the World Heritage List. The fjords, which are among the world's longest and deepest, are the result of several ice ages. Lying between them is Jostedalsbreen, the largest glacier in mainland Europe. 
You walk with a tour leader and get your luggage transported between the accommodation sites.

Day 1: Individual arrival Østerbø Fjellstue (Mountain-cabin).
Dinner and information session with tour leader.
Day 2: Transfer, then a light start up tour in the area of ​​Geiteryggen Mountain, without major challenges.
We go on the west side of Geiteryggen Mountain, the scenery is breathtaking with waterfalls and great views of the Stemmerdalen, down towards Vassbygdi and Aurland. The terrain is gently rising, approx. 200 m. From here we return to Geiterygghytta and visit the potholes. Transportation back to Østerbø.
Alternatively, we walk the path from Steinberg valley to Østerbø - approx. 12 km. / 4-5 hours (weather permitting).
Dinner and overnight Østerbø Fjellstue.
Day 3: Østerbø - Vassbygdi, about 20 km / 6 hours.
Today we have the most spectacular and famous part of the route. The walk goes past Viki to the previously known Nesbøgalden. The original road was in frail vertical dive and horizontal ladders attached to the cracks in the rock.
Later it is a wide path along the cliff Nesbø water. Furthermore, there are two alternative routes: an easy and simple,
or Bjønnstigen, which is more challenging, but also more spectacular. On the way down to Vassbygdi we pass the small farm Almen, with houses built beneath a large rock overhang. Transportation continued to Flåm.

Day 4: Excursion. Fjord cruise from Flam to Gudvangen (Nærøyfjord), then ferry to Undredal where we will visit the Undredal Stave and Cheese Museum. We taste the cheeses and it is possible to buy the cheese from here.
Dinner and overnight Flåmsbrygga Hotel. In the evening it is possible to go on brewery visits with a taste of different varieties local beer that is brewed here (extra to pay - for those interested in this visit).
Day 5: Breakfast at the hotel and depart
