Rondane - Lillehammer - 8 days / appr. 180 KM.

The Troll Trail offers excellent skiing terrain in magnificent surroundings.

The Troll Trail is a continuous marked ski trail, which passes through miles of untouched nature from Høvringen and the Rondane National Park in the north, via the mountains of Ringebu to Lillehammer – the Olympic Town - in the south. The Troll Trail is a tour trail with a large degree of variation, ideally suited for those wanting either long or short trips.

Track and skiing:
The Troll Trail is normally marked from February 1th until after Easter.  Daily stages are 17 to 38 km. The trip is best suited for well-trained skiers. On certain parts the trail is prepared daily, on others only when necessary (after heavy snowfall/heavy winds). We recommend good mountain skis/ mountain skis  with half steel edges. Troll trail goes through a varied and relatively easy trerreng without steep mountains and peaks to climb, so the challenge is to keep on skiing for 7 days. There are opportunities for ski rental.

Luggage transport and tour leader:
You can choose the trip with guide and luggage transport.  Otherwise an individual trip with luggage transport might be the right  alterantive for you. There are various departures for tours with and without a guide. A last variant is an trip without luggage transport.

For whom: MUST BE OVER AVERAGE FIT AND A GOOD SKIER!
