Nature in Lofoten is powerful and impressive, it offers beautiful scenery and awaken your senses! Areas with green-clad mountains with jagged peaks rising from a sometimes stormy ocean, small fjords, marshes, lakes and wooded slopes wedges itself in between towering mountain massive. On the flat plains at the foot of the mountains lies the small fishing villages. Even in Lofoten, steep and wild mountains, there is light tours. Our tour includes both the natural - and cultural experiences. Great hikes, combined with visits to galleries, museums, etc. Overnight at the hotel and "rorbuer" which means old fishermans cabins.
Tour leader is Trine Tjøgersen and we have added up to facilitate the legs in several places in Lofoten. Age group is 50 +.
We accept no liability for changes in the program if fewer than 10 participants. There is room for max. 16 people.
We can guarantee a memorable trip with wonderful experiences. The food is a chapter for themselves, we may well call it a culinary journey or a voyage in the Arctic menu.

Day 1: Arrival Svolvaer. Accommodation Svolvaer / Kabelvåg.
We recommend a small round in the city, it is bright and restaurants and bars are open until midnight.
Day 2: Hike to Tjeldbergtind, 367 m., with great views to the Svolvaer and Kabelvåg. Minibus pick up in Kabelvåg, the tour proceeds to Henningsvær.
Today we visit the Lofoten Museum, Gallery Espolin and perhaps Lofoten Cathedral.
After arrival Henningsvær we do a an evening stroll in town with a visit to Lofoten House Gallery and Harr.
Dinner and overnight in Henningsvær.
Day 3: Minibus to Brenna, from here easy and nice walk on the road and trail to Sunnland Fjord (ca. 4 tt / r).
Then we drive on to Gimsøya and Hov. Dinner and simple accommodation in Hov.
We go a midnight-walk to Hoven, 368 m. (2 hours t / r) to experience the environment of the midnight sun.
Day 4: Minibus to Ballstad. Along the way we visit the Viking Museum at Borg.
On reaching the Kræmmervika, we'll go on a trip along the shore to the Bridal Mountain, ca. 2 t t / r.
Dinner and overnight in old fishermans cabins on Kræmmervika.
Day 5: Today we take a couple of short, fine walks on the way from Ballstad to Reine.
First visit Glassblåseriet in Vigten, where we are an easy and nice walk about. 2 hours t / r.
On the way towards Reine we stop at Flakstad beach, with fine sandy beaches.
Dinner and overnight in Reine, or Å.
Day 6: Bus to Å, the fishing village with a seaside, piers, boathouses, boats and their own dried museum.
Visit Tele Museum in Sørvågen and Doll Museum at Sakrisøy (walking distance from Reine).
Dinner and overnight in Reine.
Day 7: Transportation from Reine to Sortland, departure with Hurtigruten at. 13.00 to Bodø
or ferry from Moskenes to Bodø.

NB: transport from Reine is not included in price.
