FOUR SUMMITS - 4 TWO THOUSANDS METERS PEAKS

We invite you to a four summits gourmet weekend in the mountains,  Grønolen Fjellgard (Mountain farm) is in Beito on the threshold of the Jotunheimen mountains. The Grønolen brothers take us on a hike up to the top of Høgdebrotet/ Tjørnholdstind and we finish the day with a fantastic and unforgettable 5-course gourmet meal!

This weekend we head to the mountains with the ones that are extra familiar with hiking in the mountains.
We go for a 10-12 hours hike on Satureday, so you must we well trained.

NEW: Spa department with counter current pool, jacuzzi, fitness room and sauna.

Friday: Arrival during the afternoon/evening by car or bus (Valdres express to Beitostølen). A 3-course dinner will be served around 20.00. After dinner we gather for an innformal talk of the hike tomorrow, with practical guidance and advice. 
Saturday: 08.30 breakfast and making of your lunch pack. At 09.30 we’re off on our hike. Tor Erik is the guide for the day, while Øyvind stays at home preparing tonights feast. If the weather is nice we drive/get a bus before we head for the top. We can expect a fantastic view of Jotunheimen, Valdresflya, all of Valdres and west towards Sognefjell mountains.
Back at Grønolen in the afternoon, you can enjoy the new spa department (NOK 50 per person) or just relax and arrive at our beautifully laid table. We will experience the wonderful cuisine of Grønolen, 5-course meal with game and all the trimmings from the local area. After dinner we enjoy a relaxing evening.
Sunday: Breakfast and departure.
For those who wish there is possibilities for a short hike today as well, we recommend Bitihorn or Synshorn, since they both are easy accessible.

Here is the long ascent/descent altitude up to 1200 m, sometimes very difficult paths. Very good condition, tour experiences
and step back is required. No dizzyness, good hiking shoes, and a complete tour equipment is a prerequisite.
